Malav Trivedi was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Nova Southeastern University, Florida, with nearly 15 years of experience in Molecular Pharmacology, Nutrition and Neuropharmacology, Oncology and Epigenetics. Dr. Trivedi is also involved in graduate and undergraduate teaching in the areas of Nano drug delivery systems, Molecular Biology Lab and Pharmacogenomics. His current research interests include characterization of molecular and cellular regulation of epigenetic marks under the effect of different metabolic stressor as well as nutrition in neurological and oncogenic disorders. Such epigenetic changes are also affected by microgravity and Dr. Trivedi leverages his knowledge and skillset to apply such technology in collaboration with NASA to understand and improve life on Earth.
Dr. Trivedi’s research projects have been funded by both commercial and non-profit organization such as Autism Research Institute, Solve ME/CFS Initiative, National Institute of Drug Abuse, National Insitute of Neurological Disorders and National Cancer Institute, National Institute of Health and Department of Defense.
